Dr. Haijun Fan received the B.S. degree in applied physics from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China, in 2009, the M.S. degree in electromagnetic and microwave technology and Ph.D. degree in electronic science and technology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2011 and 2016, respectively. From 2016-2017, he was a Post-Doctoral Fellow with the Department of Electronic Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shatin, Hong Kong. He is currently a Research Associate at Heriot-Watt University. 

His research interests include reconfigurable circuits, filter synthesis, antenna array and beam-forming networks.
