DAISSSDr. Dimitris Anagnostousis a global point of reference in research on reconfigurable, autonomous and flexible antennas and arrays. He has over 110 journal and conference publications, 2 patents, 1 book chapter, and more than 1300 citations 9h-index 18)  of his work. His interests include antennas, microwaves and electromagnetics with particular strengths in Applied Electromagnetics (Reconfigurable, autonomous and flexible Antennas and antenna arrays; analytical design methods and physical principles of antennas; slot antennas; electrically small antennas; metamaterial-inspired antenna arrays; radiating QR barcodes for anticounterfeiting and security applications; direct-write / inkjet printing of MEMS and passive RF components; high-frequency / RF electronics and microwave circuits; phase-change materials; electromagnetic materials (artificial dielectrics, artificial magnetic conductors, frequency selective surfaces); paper-electronics (eco-friendly 'green', organic); RF harvesters; MHz, THz, optical circuits and components).  Other topics of interest include MEMS; medical and digital image processing; biomedical applications of antennas and electromagnetics; artificial neural network applications in early cancer detection and in reconfigurable systems; sensors and robotics applications in electromagnetics; remote sensing; smart antennas and direction of arrival estimation; wireless signal propagation; and packaging.
